NuVasive Nerve Monitoring System

The NuVasive Neuromonitoring Systems are medical devices that are intended for intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring during spinal surgery. The neuromonitoring devices provide information directly to the surgeon, to help assess a patient’s neurophysiologic status. The NuVasive Neuromonitoring Systems provide this information by electrically stimulating nerves via electrodes located on surgical accessories and monitoring electromyography (EMG), transcranial motor evoked potential (TcMEP), or somatosensory evoked potential (SSEP) responses of nerves. The NuVasive Neuromonitoring Systems also integrate Bendini®, iGA®, and navigation software to offer a comprehensive spinal surgery solution.
